Well finally made a decision on new rims after much toing and throwing, just could not make up my mind and very nearly went for some Prodrive GC series wheels, I have wanted these though for years but was not too sure how they would look on the hatch, anyway thought sod it and ordered them last week and had them fitted yesterday.

As far as I am aware they have just recently been released in a 35 offset for the hatch (nowhere seems to list them in a 35) and I'm really happy with the result, stance is now perfect and complements my prodrive springs really well, makes it look lower than before.

    Speedline Turini's in 8.5 x 18 ET35,

    Hope you like

Thanks for the comments guys, I'm loving them and so glad I braved up and chose the gun metal!!

Sti_fairbs, wind deflectors are oe and came from my main dealer, about £80 and simple to fit, just a little tricky as the double sided sticky tape is dam sticky!!

Abz, now you've had the wheels for a couple of months can you give some feedback? I'd be interested to know how the lower offset (ET35) affected the handling and steering feedback?
Also, have you had any arch rubbing issues?

    Cheers, Neil

Still very happy with them, slight rub/catch but I have narrowed this down the the washers on my RA flaps, they have started to flex and are now concave casuing a slight rub, going to spin them around at the weekend so and easy fix.

They are pretty much on the limit though, a wider or deeper tyre I think could cause some rubbing, since my car has been lowered it seems to have pushed the front wheels forward so on standard hight you may get away with it.

Handling/steering, to be honest I do not push the car that hard but have not had any negative affects from the wider track, if anything it has given me more confidence in high speed conering, I am also running my old tyres so its not as if I have gone to a better tyre at the same time so can compare like for like.

Only thing is the car now gets a lot more dirtier, the wheels are now level with the RA's so more crap goes up the side, touch wood the paint has been ok also.

All in all though I am very happy.

    Hope that helps
    A
