Eibach Springs Fitted
Just thought I would post a few pics of the car after the Eibachs were fitted.

Very nice... Only looking at the pics on the ropey browser of my works E72, but seems to sit perfectly. Not too low but enough to give it a bit of agression. I like

That is what I thought when i first saw them on, not way to low but enough to give it more of a meaner look.Spot on really

Re: Eibach Springs Fitted
Looking now on a proper screen and it does look good.... my mind is pickled from trying to decide on what suspension to go with, Eibach/Prodrive/BC Racing. Arrrgh.
Either way very nice Kris

LOL... stop it, i was all set for Eibachs but love the adjustability that the BCs give you. And for £500 in a GB they have got to be a bargain.
All of your cars look great, decisions kill me

Re: Eibach Springs Fitted
If you want it to go lower then don't bother with the Prodrive springs. They only drop 5mm and 10mm front and rear. I wasn't so bothered about it being too low so was happy with the Prodrive option as a stop gap to maybe getting the ASTs from Litcho later, but I must say the BCs do sound exceptional value and only heard good things about them.
On the up side even the PD springs make a massive improvement to the handling

Now they've been on a while what are your opinions of the Eibach's Kris?
Also when you installed them did you cut down the bumpstops?

Really happy with them. They look like they have dropped a little more. Nice stance and the ride isn't too hard!
Don't think the stops were cut no.

Cheers Kris. Your springs were second hand weren't they, wounder if the instructions in a new set call for the bump stops to be cut? Looking at other kits they either include new bumpstops or you have to cut the OEM one. Reason being as soon as you lower the GR chassis due to the limited damper travel you are sat on the bumpstops without any load on the car. From what i've read most people are saying any lowering spring upgrade makes the handling worse due to the rear suspension geometry and OEM damper travel, which would make sense as to why Prodrive springs only drop it by 5mm at the rear (and iirc include bumpstomps).... all this info is from the US sites tho.
I'm, still undecided. Yours does look good on Eibach's tho Chris as does the pics Phil posted on Scoobynet.

Re: Eibach Springs Fitted
I got my OEM bumpstops back with the OEM springs when the Prodrive springs went on.
Either new lower or no bumps stops fitted.

That confirms what the US sites say, Prodrive springs should have new shorter and uprated stops.
Also found that the Eibach springs say to cut the rear bump stops by 25mm.... at static ride height there is only 30mm of travel before the bump stop is engaged, so if they aren't cut then with 25mm lower Eibachs you have 5mm before the bump stops. That doesn't sound great.
