MPG, what are you getting Empty MPG, what are you getting

Whats sort of mpg are you guys getting from your STI's and 330's, most of my journeys are 1 to 2 mile which used to kill it and generally was getting 23ish with sensible driving.

Now after having it mapped I had a 80mile motorway run last week and easily got 30mpg on avearge at 70mph and best was 32mpg for most of the journey with some B roads thrown in.

Mixed driving at the weekend 30 motorway miles and about 30 around town and its sitting at 25/26 average.

Now this is a vast improvment and my recent remap seems to have helped out.

    All running om Tesco 99.

This is also helping convince the Mrs the map was a sensible option!!

Mine is STI, only breathing mods are a Milteck cat-back. I'm getting 23mpg average same as you were, lots of short trips, mostly urban less than 10 mls. On the motorway 28-32 mpg also.

Not had it re-mapped yet - still very worried that if I get it mapped properly IM would contest the warranty if the dreaded piston meltdown still happened...

Short town journeys of around 3-4 miles I'm getting 23mpg.

On a decent run I can get around 30-33mpg in my 330S.

If I drive mine to work (2.5miles) then I'm lucky to get 18mpg. When it snowed I was down to 15mpg Laughing

The other day I did 45miles and got 30mpg easily. The most I've ever had was 34mpg, but god it was boring!! Then on the way home I treated myself to a bit of fun since I had done so well and it went down to 24 Twisted Evil

Mines a 330s with cossy filter and new back box. No re-map.

Seems like we're all pretty much of a muchness

    Cheers

My 330S gets around 23 on general driving, the 15 miles each way to work is 3 miles vilage 30 mph roads / 2-3 miles back roads and the rest dual carriageway or motorway. Another route is mainly dual carriageway and motorway.

Around 20 if hust local village short drives.

On a motorway run, up to 28 mpg, never seen 30+ mpg even if using the cruise control!!

typical av on whole tank 28-30mpg - very pleased.
Best 5 mile stretch 39.9mpg (just after filling up/resetting mileometer) - but was mainly a long gentle decline so probably cheating !!
Gutted I couldn't break the 40 mpg barrier Laughing

similar to my other deisels ive owned over the years seem to get better when the engine gets looser for some reason

some of you guys are getting great figures from the petrol engines my old classic gets 25mpg over 56k miles
