    Guys,

I had my rally armor mudflaps fitted to my 330S on Friday

Whilst washing the car yesterday I noticed the rear bumper loose a wee bit at the side (passenger)
Turns out they haven't put the little clip that goes underneath back in.

Does any one know the bit that I'm talking about?

I assume that the bracket can't come loose as its held in place with two other screws anyway?

Dealer has ordered me a replacement clip

    Cheers,
    Shaun

    Hi Urban,

I think it depends if you have version 1 or version 2 mud flaps... Question

I've got version 1 which are larger size than version 2 & have a secure independent mount on the inner edge of the flap to a different part of the vehicle. Version 2 (I think?) is only secured to the fender / bumper molding.

If you've got version 1 there are two ways that it's connected to the inner side of the flap - one is by an RA supplied clip that grips a join in the panel under the boot area, another way is by drilling through said panel join thus avoiding the need for the grip clip. Both are however very secure.

You might want to check how secure the flap is esp. if you have version 2 - which seem to rely more on the outer mounting points on the bumper!

    Cheers

    They're the V2 mudflaps.
I was hoping it'll be fine with the two outer screws for the time being.

Am supposed to have replacement clip tomorrow.

Sorry to burst in to your thread

Are Rally Armor mud flaps only available direct from the US?

Yeah - only from the US.
Takes about 10days from the time of order until you actually get them by the way.

    Now.......................
I was told by the dealer that the Prodrive mudflaps will fit the hatch.
The bloke fitting my RA flaps was adamant that they'd put prodrive mudflaps on another hatch

Prodrive however told me that they do not have any.
