    Quick Q..

    Does anyone have, or know of where to get one of the brakelights that goes in the STi roof spoiler?

    Subaru want £120 + VAT for one and as usual, that is a serious wedge for something that a costs a few quid to make.. affraid

    If by any chance they carried over the same part that they uased in the Hawk WRX spoiler (you never know with Subaru) pop me a pm as I have a brand new one.

    I would pop into the stealers,

    I have leds out on my mine and have spoked to IM about it, the unit is sealed and as such should be covered under warranty, £120.00 is the same as I was qouted which for a bit of plastic some wires and an led or two is ratehr expensive.

    Oh, no, this is to put in an STi spoiler I want to fit to my WRX.. Problem is, it has no brake light!

    £120 though... yikes

    Looks different from memory, think the one I have is shorter but deeper, I think someone was breaking a Hatch on ebay, may be worthnlooking for some second hand parts and shooting a mail of to them, you never know.

    If you're only down in Kent then I could always try and test fit it? Have you compared the Hawk light with the one on your Hatch to see if they are close?

    Not yet as its in the loft wrapped up in bubble wrap, will try to get up there this weekend and check for you, will report back.

    Hkp, ok just got out the loft and you may not believe this but its the same part used in the 06 hawk wrx spoiler and the 08 sti spoiler.


    The spoiler came off my car when it was about a week old so pretty much as new.
