And how do you connect it - the jacks in the armrest?

DVD's ??

If you mean plug in, I don't!

I really wanted to know how to get the DVD screen running off Ipod touch etc. so I could display the Rev 2 info but never found out how.

DVD he says

Yeah - I meant the jacks in the centre

Can an MP3 player be plugged into the jacks?

It can, I have an old i-Pod permanently connected. It doesn't control from the head unit though but works OK, use the AUX mode on the head unit.

Any of you know if the navigation unit can play MP3's on a DVD?

Just wondering before I waste any time trying it.

Need to try that myself, just not go around to it yet. Works with a CD crammed with MP3 so no reason why not

it just said "check disc"

After reading your post i just had to give it a bash & seeing how i am on a slack day.................

It does work but you must burn to dvd in mp3 format & not data format.
I used nero to make a jukebox mp3 dvd, dropped dozens of albums onto the disc.

Make sure you create folders for the different albums, normal desktop folders.
Name the folder say ABBA then the next one AC/DC it will then show up on the touch screen.

If you just drop all the songs onto the dvd without folders you will have thousands of songs to run through.

I used Nero instead of Windows.

Only thing I noticed is that the album information no longer appears from the DVD, did appear on CD?

I stuck about 30 albums on the DVD, and even then it was only around 65% full
