STi exhaust bumper trims

STi exhaust bumper trims

After a bit of help about STi exhaust bumper trims/heat shields.

I'm about to cut my WRX bumper to fit the quad tail pipes to the new exhaust. However just cutting holes is not going to be very nice to look at, so I probably will need to buy some of the STi trims to make a neater job.

Can you someone send me some measurements and/or 3d photos of the STi exhaust bumper trims.


Lordharding - if you still have yours laying about that would be the best.

That way I can see how I'm going to fit them on (if possible?) and what size holes to cut.

If the sizes are ok and they can be easily fitted to a flat surface, then I'll order some. My worry is they may need to fit the curved bumper holes on the Sti bumper ???

Does that make sense???

its a shame you're so far away from me as I have a set of the official subaru trims sitting unused in my garage.

I've test fit them to my WRX rear bumper though and they do fit. Oddly, if you put the left one on the right side and vice versa they fit even better.

You need to cut the whole flat section of each end section of the WRX bumper out to fit them if that makes sense..

I had some pics of them fitted on a WRX somewhere....

Are they for sale?

Ummm.. I guess they could be! I was going to fit the STI back box I got from Mark, but now I fancy the Remus system so probably won't use them. Lord knows what they are worth! PM me an offer if you like?

Just to say, they are new and have never been fitted, complete with the proper hex bolts etc.

The hatch is the future at Cs we have 6 in the club with new ages

are these the only difference between the sti and wrx bumper.

well bar the flared arches. or is the whole unpainted section different?

Totally different bumpers.

I had to cut my bumper a lot and then fit the trims to make it neater. The trims profile is slightly different but it pulls in line when tightening up.
