    Thought I'd say Hello.

I recently bought a 2008 dark grey Euro-spec sti with Litchfield mods (Miltek ex, induction kit, remap to 350bhp) from Litchfields. Not much to report yet, still getting used to the car and getting over the fright I had finding both water and oil dangerously low after I drove it home 350mls. Not too impressed with that (understatement). Touch wood water and oil loss are within reasonable bounds atm.

First impressions are that the suspension is rather unsettled although it copes okay with the lumpy Scottish roads. Heating system seems quirky - either its off or I'm too hot.

    It's climate control!

Either set the temp to what you want and fan speed to auto and let it do it's thing or pick a temp and set fan to your fave speed!

Seems to work fine on mine ( 330s )

No shit. I never thought of setting the fan speed to my fave speed and the temp dial to the temp I wanted - why didn't I think of that? :p

Hey I'm glad it works for you. I'll try the manual mode mentioned in the tech thread, hell I might even get round to RTFM.

Hehe, not being patronising ... was gonna say teaching sucking egss. etc. but mine does seem to do what it's supposed to do and keep temp around the temp set - blower goes on and off. Does not come on if on heat until engine warm, slows / stops fan when at set temp.

Needs to be in auto to do that else we need to adjust ourselves!
For cold air I set to lower than the 17 degree click and fan onto setting 1 or 2 ( so not auto ) and yes it does then get cold over a period...

And Air Con setting left on, many people don't as "it costs petrol / power " - the air con is a heat pump system and pumps cold AND hot air as requred so don't think of it as just a cooling system.

Post up how you get on as it's interesting if it's a fault / problem or just the settings,

I'll do that. Thanks for the help. TBH I've been more concerned with the oil & water situation, but I've almost (but not quite) convinced myself that there isn't a real problem.
