    My STi has the prodrive rearbox but is still very quiet comapred to my 02sti with the prodrive exhaust,

    i really dont want to buy another rear box to get some noise back, is there another way?

    Maybe centre decat or downpipe?? any ideas what make would bolt up to my components, ether way i dont want a remap as im still in warrenty.

    I am in the same situation as you. I don't think there is anything Subaru will class as warranty friendly in our quest for more noise.

    Any turbo end mods will lead to a definite re-map on this car.

    Centre deres pipe will unleash a little, had a custom pipe made up for mine and chopped out the resonator. Will still be v quite inside due to the soundproofing. I now have that, my ppp box and a second decat pipe.

    Have a few vids on YouTube with all bits fitted, search arronburgess user.

    Agree Arron. I have also chopped out the resonator and there is a very small difference. The car does need more sound though Very Happy

    I fitted Revolutions 3" cat back system and gutted the centre cat and it does sound better, but unless you take all the cats out I doubt you will get a decent rumble back.
    I even considered getting some of Harveys famous headers fitted.

    Oh, and any exhaust mods like these will need remapping to be safe.

    I fitted a Hayward and Scott full decat exhaust, promptly followed by rcm headers.
    She now rumbles with the best of them Very Happy
