Turbo to Intercooler Hose

Anyone know of a source for 3rd party sti turbo hose?

Mine is chewed up where some muppet has used a perforated hose clamp.
Just been quoted £190 +vat from Subaru dealer!

GGR are telling me they only sell the Samco kits which are for the older models and contain around 3 hoses.

Samco look to have produced the induction pipe and cooling hoses. I would be interested in the intercooler hoses if they do them but I need the turbo to intercooler hose as mine has done the same as yours appears to have and chewed the edge and then the clamp slips off after time.

Rob, my mindreading skills are a bit rusty. Could you suggest what part to ask for, what make of hose (Samco?), what year/model to fit etc? I asked for a turbo-intercooler hose for 2008+ sti but drew a very definate blank.

Ring them up and ask for a 90 degree elbow 51mm. £15.86 + vat + postage

Now I understand. I hadn't realised you were talking about the generic 51mm elbow. The turbo outlet is 48mm and I had thought that a 51mm hose wouldn't squeeze down that far, certainly the manufacturers won't recommend it, but obviously you find it okay in practice which is reassuring.

Paul, the favoured hose clamps for turbos seems to be the Murray clamps http://www.owendevelopments.co.uk/products/murray-clamp.asp I got mine from Allyn at Asperformance.com Of course they cost a few £s more (around £6). Apparently a light coat of hairspray (on the spigots not on yer bonce) will help too.
