Wanted R205 spec c wheels

Litchfield sell the ultimate of wheel (oem subaru STI) but is it worth the cost £299 + vat per wheel, £1435 without tyres?


Has other manufacturers put the same R+D into wheel manufacture?

If you want the look without the cost, what about the Rota Gravel? Pretty much identical and about half the price.

Yes - BBS, Speedline, OZ, Prodrive forged range (made by Rays in Japan) etc etc etc.

Decided on this type of wheel and now the dilema is price, weight(would i notice) senario! Sti or Rota

No not in the real world, maybe a little if you are going to be doing track days.

Can't have STi wheels As Litchfield have stopped importing them

So that's sorted that dilema

Love the look of the rota gravel but can't find weight in comparison to stock!

Also swaying to the look of abz speedline wheel and tyre combo!

After a wee bit of digging:

Rota Gravel 18x8.5 ET44 22lbs
OEM Wheel 17x8 ET53 21lbs

So 1lb heavier for 1" diameter increase and 0.5" width increase. There'll be bigger differences than that just in tyre choice!

Thanks for all of that, I have just put order in for the last 4 Rota Gravel in gunmetal!

Bring on Friday with Yoko's and nitrogen.

Then its sort out centre caps like the oem ones!

Getting yoko ad08's and taking them off when weather turns got me stock 17's with Avon's on!

Ahhhh, that makes more sense! Thought maybe you'd lost your marbles fitting new wheels and summer rubber for winter.

Regarding pic size, I find that 800 x 600 is about max for this site if you want to see the full pic. For reference, the pic I posted above of the wheel is 800 x 800.

Went to collect today!

Just my luck one wheel had a pin hole through from inner rim to outer rim!
Last set I'm told for another 2 months in uk!

Thankfully Revolution spotted it and a credit to them!

Rota.. loads have been sold, they'll be the odd issue, don't worry about it.

Have you pm'd M44GGY on ScoobyNet.. he sell Rota and offers discounts etc
check the wheel/tyre section out.. he's normally about on there.

Still waiting for Rota to deliver any gravel in gunmetal to UK (M444GY on case)!

Hopefully with a Federal 595 tyre choice!

Looks good! Always been a fan of gold on white.

Just one thing though, can you resize the image? I can only see upto the back end of the front wing.

I can shrink screen on laptop which shows full pic?

I can only ever see the left of pics on here, think its a settings thing and if you just use Photobucket for you pics they are too big,

Think it's likely your local PC screen resolution - if it's set to say 800x600 then the pics will be far too big for the screen, but something with finer resolution, erm, 1280x768 or something like that ( keep it in proportion - forgot normal size as mine's a wide screen ) works fine.

The pic above leaves an inch or more of spare screen on my machine!
