      Very Happy

      Your bite point high?
I'm convinced my bite point is changing - if that makes sense
Sometimes it bits on say 60-70% released, most times its biting on 80-90% released.

Mine always was midway for the bite, but with launch control & flat foot shifting it most places its now quite high. You could try bleeding the clutch circuit & see if that makes any difference

Would bleeding the clutch be covered under my warranty?

I'm afraid I don't have the ability to do such a task

      Cheers Rob

Out of interest, I was speaking with a guy I know who is from an ex dealership
He said that when the clutch goes/is about to go, the clutch pedal becomes very difficult to push.
Sounded like bull to me - can you make any comment?

Can Be a little heavier but not that you would notice on an sti, usually you will feel a bit of a notch on the pedal at the top when you press it, that usually signify's its well past its best

      What do think of this
When the car is cold the bite point is roughly in the middle
But when warm, its very close to the top
Would that indicate it needs bled?

Could be a faulty clutch slave cylinder.

bleeding would be the first port of call & then to try it and see if it changes its behaviour if it doesn't then it will need a slave cylinder replaced.

the only other thing that I've seen it the return spring can snap on the clutch arm which would give you the same scenario too

I'm get the notch feeling at the top of my clutch pedal and the clutch has started to slip a bit...what clutch would peolpe recommend, the standard Subaru part or an aftermarket one? Also, can anyone recommend anywhere to fit the clutch in the south west london/kent borders?

      Thanks

      Hi Rob

      Me again!

I'm leaving the car into the dealer on Monday, but just out of curiosity what is it likely to mean if the clutch pedal is very light to press.

      cheers

If the clutch is very light to press, the hydraulic circuit is most likely to be full of air.

      Rob, took it to dealers

The mechanic reckons that there may be something up with the pressure plate
He began talking about the rod from the pedal and that this connects with some kind of pin.
This pin he said should be loose, but mine is tight (hope that makes sense)
Clutch is not slipping or anything, and he's adjusted the bite point to be lower
