Colder water thermostat for Subaru's

Anyone interested in a colder running water thermostat?

Got one of these for my mates RA, and they do them for all years of Impreza - same fitting!

Runs at 160F, starts to open at 140F.
Erm in English thats running at around 78C not 84C ( I think! ) so a few degrees colder.

Engine works better with more temp difference between cylinders and outside, potentially less det, oil is less stresed or thin, see info below for details!

Please take note that you may not see a major difference in your coolant temp gauge after the installation of a high performance thermostat. The reason behind this is the Subaru vehicle is equipped with electronic fans that are thermostatically controlled. To take full advantage of this thermostat you may need your stock ECU map edited to accommodate a lower temperature fan turn on procedure.
