Centre console front part - removal?

The silver part of the centre console has a few chips from when the dealer fitted the quickshift or something.

Got a perfect used one and want to fit.


I know there are 2 screws at the front in the storage pouch, under the rubber mat.
I can't see any screw heads and they seem a way down the holes in the tray?

I need a very short screwdriver to get to the screws as the dash above gets in the way!


Or am I doing it all wrong?

Ignore me, The screws are in the rear armrest cubby NOT the one under the cigar lighter socket, much easier when I understand the instructions!
