Exhaust for a deisel wrx

Hi guys
bit of advice for an oilburner in the group
been Reading about the new subaru exhaust muffler and one comment on scoobynet is very favorable for it price is £300 ish and it seems to let out dome of the burble

Option 2 is fitting the exhaust from the sti and I have a good friend who just seems to have a spare one cluttering up his garage which helps with my recycling beliefs and I could then get the exhaust trims fitted which I do like the look of but it then puts the price up

I did remember the orignal demo had the twin exhausts but can't remember the noise

What do you recomend guys and why ?

I'd be tempted for the first option, the std STI box is very restrictive and really does hold back the burble.

Hayward and scott do a WRX box and I think looking at it it will fit ours. Speak to them, I'm sure they will help you out.


Or you can wait till august time when I can get a new policy and start modding. Then I will take a trip down to see them.

Yes haywood and Scott produce a nice quality system and maybe twin exhaust to give the STi look then put the trims on

I'm going to put the STi stock back box on mine soon (with the stainless trims). I'll report back on the sound. Certainly a stock STi box and the trims will be cheaper than the Diesel back box from Scooby...
