The trim is easy enough to remove once you've figured out what your supposed to do
Start at the top first, then the sides and the bottom pops off
One screw is really awkward to get at though

Do you mean to replace the red fog lamp for clear, or just the bulb?

I did the clear light ages ago but the painted bulb had burnt off the red lacquer! Hence wanting a red LED bulb.

To get bulb out just pop a screwdriver into the slot at the edge of the bulb access flap at the back / top behind the light on the hatch lid and twist the bulb holder to remove it from the lens, then swap bulb.
The capless bulbs only seem to work if fitted one way so dwap 180 degrees if it doesn't light!

Just fitted the fog red bulb into the clear lens, clear when off and nice and red when on!

I thought you were also fitting the clear fog.

OK - need to take a night time picture.
But I got the bulb, and it works, and doesn't appear to have caused any issues
