RDS function doesn't work, even though the button is there.

I used the new brackets as they needed less adjusting.

Tony, from memory can you remember what the antenna connector is for the TV, is it just a basic DC male input like the one in the link attached?

I think it is a jack plug type connection?? right hand side of picture.

I don't have much access to sites at the moment so can't check your link until later.

Arron, do we expect a large mast and digital aerial on top of the roof / spoiler?
You really need TV feed in the car ...? Suppose if you spend a lot of time waiting for people at events etc. then keeps you amused.

haha, belive me some of those I have looked at are massive!!!

Figured if it has the TV option I may as well set it up, like you say I do tend to sit outside the local supermarket with my daughter quite a bit when my wife goes in for a pint of milk and returns 45 minutes later with a shopping trolly full!

Have you had any luck loading music up on a memory card?

I've tried a few times and it only seems to read random albums and no more than 3 on a card, you can put 10 on a card and it only pics up the original 3, very confusing?

Is it MP3's you are loading on?

All loaded up in windows media player, the ones on there it plays fine, just cannot get many on there even though the card physically holds the data it will not show on the nav unit.

Just tried putting some mp3's onto a sd card and they seemed to work ok. Albeit I only put a dozen or so on in a few folders.

Ta, seems to have a limit from what I can see of about 120 songs!

Oh well... that's still 6 albums so not too bad really.

All sorted after some playing around, now have a 1gb card in there with 15 albums, 200 or so songs, only limit seems is the card, however with too many it would be hard to navigate through them all!

Works best if music converted through WMA to an aac format.
You need a folder on the card and within that a folder for each album.
Do not create a folder for an artist and pop a few albums into one folder after the main folder, does not like that.
Once converted, rename each track and remove the 01, 02, 03 bit before the track name as the unit numbers them for you, otherwise means you loose the first 10 letters or so of the track name.

Only confusing bit is the first album shows on both the folders so looks like its on there twice, its not though!

Apart from that its getting better and better this unit!

did you notice any improvement in the sound output with the standard speakers ?
