North West Mapping.... any demand?

You have more experiance of mapping than I do Tony, I just drive while they map!


Mine have been done in sunny Edinburgh or the lanes by Elvington on the roads, on the classic and now the hatch.

Andrew C was road mapping in his area last week, and has used Silverstone autosport rollers to map time attack car and others, with a road tweek as necessary. I expect he has ECUTek can't confirm, but the time attack car may well have other ECU, and the other one I know of had Apexi PFC.


Motorway or dual carriage way have been used!

3" exhaust with sports cat ( H&S ), 800c injectors, AEM cold air induction kit, ickle bitty bit of methanol (16.6% ). Cam cover and crankcase vents diverted. Remap with racerom ( toys and 2nd map, not power performance enhancing! )

And the v-power version ...

how do you manage to work out a 16.6% meth mix ?? thats gotta be really confusing is it ??

I'm only running 10% in mine with 1.3 bar boost for 410bhp/430ft/lbs
Going back up to get the rest of mine setup so may throw 20% at it and see what it can do on a separate map.

Not that tricky Rob, 5 ltrs fuel, 1 ltr meth.

I think the last couple of weeks has melted your brain!

Rheid got there first! Re meths in petrol calc.


I put 2 x 5l cans of meths into the fuel tank and then fill with 50l of V Power.
Would have gone for 20% but more of a pain!! So went easy route.

Normal map is still good tho!

The Racerom map is really race based, a bit noticeable on the road but fun! The 2nd map is great for the meth play time!!

Think I am at 1.4 bar on v power map and 1.5 bar on meth map!

The meth cools as it octane boost so safe there, and Bob says no det seen at all!



Still std engine but if it pops, time for fully forged build and SC46 billet turbo etc.!!

Had mine mapped by Bob Rawle today, what a great job. Over 370bhp and 410ft/lbs in S# with the added benefits on flat shifting and launch control. Once that map was sorted he copied it to the S and wound down the boost alittle to 1.1b. The Perrin three port did it job well straight to 1.5b nothing more nothing less, holding it until the turbo ran out of puff. Bob recommendations for the next mods were a SC46 and Litchfield 800cc injectors.

Mahle pistons, Manly rods, ARP headstuds, ACL race bearings, Cosworth head gasket, sump baffle & cam belt, Exedy clutch, 255ltr fuel pump, Perrin 3-port, AEM induction and a Cobra 3" sports cat & system.
