Rob and others think there is still a bug the the Prodrive ECU map, hence they go get a "proper" map off a tuner...


Unless some other element is common - fuel, driving style, month of manufacture, dunno really.


Only good thing I guess, if not warrantied then you can build what you want - steel / forged monster for same as Subaru would do a std motor!

ive given up trying to get owt for my suspeion issuse after haveing to replace struts with coilovers , car had eibachs springs on when i got it developed a knock took it to a dealer to get checked strut tops theraded part f****d dealer blameing people who fitted them ,they sayed it was ok when it was done , 3 partys involved all blameing each other no 1 wanting to take blame just going round in circles

Got this back from my main dealer after I queried their service check on my ecu - 330S...


The purpose of this bulletin is to advise a new service campaign applicable to 08MY Impreza STi within a specified VIN range.

This does not apply to vehicles supplied as standard with a Prodrive performance pack (PPP) or those with a PPP fitted as an accessory upgrade

Hope this puts your mind at rest.


Ohh well, didn't look as if the laptop was plugged into the OBD port as the PLX Wifi was undisturbed, wiring and box just sits in the gap under steering wheel and hadn't moved!

Had my 330S checked today, all good with 'rough' check, compression test etc. so happy man.

I was planning on getting Andy Forrest to check mine 330S next time he's over in Northern Ireland

Yes it's a 330S, they did what they call a 'rough' check with a laptop and they also checked the compressions. All good and just arrived back from a trip to Manchester and it ran faultlesly.

On the car: ( i made some STI centre cap stickers to cover the original ultralight ones, I also opted for the flush fitting caps.







ET35 offset give the wheel a wider stance and fill the arch perfectly, now level!!!

I made some more tinted 'film' up , the same as the rear lights mod I did and applied these to the headlights and the foglights.

along with the black grille I think I have made it a mich more aggressive looking front now.

Lighting wise, the film allows 100% light thru so there are no 'legal' issues that the police can use.

forgot to say that I tinted the front subaru badge too, just to confuse people even more with what car it is lol

well i been tolld that the mid level rear spoiler is in at Slipened, should get it easrly next week, then i need to get over to the carbon fibre guru to see if and how much to have a mould and one made up

Which spoiler is that Mark, the one we were looking at from HTA ?? Cosworth style? Any pics??
