Possible GB on Cobra sport exhaust.

Talking to Cobra exhaust about a 3" turbo back sports cat system and they have asked if I'd be interested in running a GB.

Looking about £700 to £750 shipped , details to follow.

Would anybody be interested?

any restrictions as to which styles they would do this on. id be very interested esp if the sports cat is included in that price, as getting forged hopefully this week, so an exhaust at that price would be very hard to refuse.

That is for the 3" system with sports cat and centre box and as far as I'm aware you can choose you tail pipe option, but I'll check.

Good prices Paul, way under H&S - my sports cat alone from H&S in 3" was around £650 !!!!!!

Mine arrives on Friday, fit it over the weekend ready for Bob on Tuesday. I'll post graphs when it's done to see how we compare! Even with the H&S gb prices it near £400 cheaper and I've gone for the centre box to keep the wife happy as the little lad has relegated her to the back.

I am looking at a place in Staffordshire to quieten my H&S 3" system down, too attention grabbing at the moment! Bigger mid box I think.

I'll be down your way to catch Bob after you are mapped, tweek the map on mine where the turbo runs out of puff and gets a bit rough, and to try and map in the Perrin 3 port.

You fitting your Perrin 3 port for the map?

Its an absolute bargain mate. £711 for a full 3" system with sports cat.

And yes I will be getting it fitted there, choosing exhaust tips and exact positioning whilst there.

Pauls figures show that it produces the goods alright.

I personally like a quieter exhaust so they will fit me a little larger backbox to keep the noise levels down.

A Big Up !

Finally made it to Cobrasport exhausts today for my new turbo back system.

Bought in the current group by deal - an amazing £711 'ish fitted.

Also completely custom made for you...

A full 3" system starting with an open mouth downpipe housing a 200 cell sports catalyst (fully heatwrapped = a little extra).

Resonated centre and T shape backbox with custom outlets...

After some deliberation I chose 4" slash cut tips slightly rotated and slightly staggered to completely blend with the bumper line.

It was the first time they have done this arrangement and the end result is superb !

Sean who did the welding up and positioning of the rear box and tips is an absolute perfectionist - its a real work of art.

And the sound... what an orchestra of sound - on a 80mph cruise pretty much the same as before. but tickling it on pull away or on full chat - crikey... a snarley, growling, gutteral bark !

Wanted to give the boys at Cobrasport a big up for workmanship and professionalism - esp Pete, Matt and Sean.

If I had a decent camera I'd take some shots.. but then I dunno how to post them up so... sorry about that guys.

i've previously had full H+S systems which are very good, but in times of recession CobraSport are offering something which is 'as good' and very well priced. My 380 mile round trip was worth it - still vastly cheaper than other local peeps.

Also Cheers to Paul666 for setting up the deal. You really won't get a better quality system anywhere, and they produce the goods as well.

I'm gonna have a minor map tweak shortly with my new Grimmspeed boost controller and bigger injectors and we'll see what sort of increase we get from swapping up from a 2.5" decat system to a 3" sports cat....
