PPP for STi and 330S exhaust the same?

Is the PPP exhaust for the STi the same as that fitted to the 330S ?

When I got the PPP fitted to the hatch STi I got the old back box and a middle pipe/box back - what's the middle pipe for / changed to? Was this a 2nd cat and replaced with just a pipe?

Are these both changed on the 330S when it gets it's power upgrade?
Looks like still a resonator or something in the middle pipe on the 330S.

330S seems quieter than the STI with PPP hence wondering if only the back box was changed on the 330S.

Now I could be wrong but have been led to belive:

Backbox, same on PPP and 330s
Centre Pipe/resonator pipe, same on STI, PPP'd and 330s

PPP/330s also removes the 2nd cat and replaces it for a decat pipe

I have actually got a decat on order ready for my map this week.

the 330S just comes with the PPP system 'as standard'

so am i right in assuming PPP removes the second cat and therefore, sportscat or total decat are the way forward from there?

I had the PPP fitted to my March 2010 STi and my understanding is they remove the second cat but the first cat is still there making it "legal", Peter

The above is correct, ppp system also retains the standard STI centre pipe.
