Cosworth Cold Air Intake?
Anybody heard anything about the Cosworth intake? Personally never knew they were doing one, only seen the panel filters. Doing a bit of search looks like they will be £240ish.

Re: Cosworth Cold Air Intake?
Cosworth seem to be going that bit extra over what Prodrive have ever offered engine wise, this CAI being an example. Hopefully some more exciting products are in the pipeline...

Re: Cosworth Cold Air Intake?
Hopefully from what I've heard, Prodrive are no longer going to be doing the Performance upgrades for subaru. Cosworth are set to take over and everything should be warrentied by subaru too.
That Induction kit does look very tasty indeed lol

Re: Cosworth Cold Air Intake?
Thought that would be the case, will Prodrive still be an option though for all models upto this point and Cosworth for the Hatch onwards, or are Prodrive totally out of the Subaru game and now all dealer performance options be Cosworth?

Re: Cosworth Cold Air Intake?
I think its probably safe to say Prodrive are now out of the game
They were selling off all old stock not that long ago sure.

Re: Cosworth Cold Air Intake?
well I hope Cosworth have already done some development for the older cars as I'm sure there will be some people out there with Hawks etc that are after factory performance upgrades, otherwise Litchfield and co will have lots of new customers!

Re: Cosworth Cold Air Intake?
1st cosworth upgrade needs to be a CPU kit (Chocolate Piston Upgrade).
They have put the hours in with the CS400 so this should be ann easy one. Fingers crossed they do something along these lines, although they will of course have to market it in a Subaru friendly way. One which doesn't suggest the 2.5 pistons are in any way a weakness of the 2.5 engine
God forbid !!!

Re: Cosworth Cold Air Intake?
yes prodrive have been selling off there remaining subaru stock, you cant even get the prodrive centre caps for the wheels anymore
But on the plus side the cs400 was basically the start of things to come with the subaru cosworth collaboration.
From what ive been told there will be cosworth performance packs for the cars but not sure when at the moment we will see these
